Beethoven's 9th Symphony
Beethoven’s 9th Symphony is just one of my favorite musical creations. It’s so damn optimistic, and Leonard Bernstein conducting in Berlin in 1989 to celebrate the fall of the wall, where he replaces “joy” with “freedom” (“Freude” mit “Freiheit”) is simply wonderful.
